He received a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Tel Aviv University in Israel. His Master's thesis concentrates on the esoteric roots of Reiki. During his study, he compared and analyzed Reiki initiations from around the world to reveal a pattern apparent in all initiations. As a doctoral student writing his dissertation, he lives in Israel with his wife and two children. He also is active in the Israeli Reiki Association. She’s a graduate teacher from the International House of Reiki, led by world-renowned Reiki master Frans Stiene. She also trained with the Center for True Health, and the International Center for Reiki. To gain an even deeper understanding of Reiki practice, Nathalie went to Japan to practice Zen Buddhism at the Chokai-san International Zendo.
