The Los Angeles Angels took 2 out of 3 from the New York Mets this weekend on the East Coast, and Shohei Ohtani had himself a nice Friday and Saturday at the plate! He's continued to play through the UCL injury as expected, and GM Perry Minasian spoke to the media about the timeline of events leading up to his injury and Shohei feeling like an MRI wasn't necessary when dealing with previous issues. It was a nice dose of clarity to a situation that saw all kinds of accusations being flung around since the news broke, and Mike and Jon respond to it in segment 1!
Then, the Halos were able to pick up wins on Friday and Saturday by playing fundamental baseball and getting strong pitching starts. Unfortunately, on Saturday, Chase Silseth was the victim of one of the worst instances of Angels baseball that fans may have seen in their entire lives, and we'll discuss it all in segment 2.
Plus, we talk about what led to the Angels loss on Sunday and how, despite winning 2 out of 3, we feel like this series was just... fine? We'll explain what we mean in segment 3!
