The We Are West Ham podcast has a slightly different feel this week thanks to work commitments and the Hammers’ game vs Arsenal slap bang in the middle of the week.



So this is part one of a two-part episode this week.



Will Pugh and James Jones start with the heartbreaking news from Isla Caton’s mum Nikki that they’ve stopped treatment and beautiful Isla does not have too long left with us.



She has been an inspiration to us here on the podcast and thousands, if not millions, of people – particularly West Ham fans - around the world.



We send Isla and her family all the love, thoughts and best wishes we possibly can and hope that every single one of our listeners does too.



Isla’s just giving page is still running as the family try to raise some more cash in order to make her last days, weeks and hopefully months as magical and memorable as they can.

After a sad but meaningful start to the podcast, the lads go on to discuss Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Burnley which Will had the misfortune of going to.



And then sports news editor at SunSport and huge Arsenal fan Dan Cutts dials in to have a chat with Will ahead of Wednesday’s huge battle for the top-four at the Emirates.
