After over a month off to recharge their batteries, James and Will are back to get the We Are West Ham Podcast underway for the new season.

Having missed out on a huge chunk of the summer, the lads catch up with some obligatory mundane chat, including James' story how he managed to get third-degree burns on a stag do in Spain and Will's hatred of proper tennis but love for the exhibition type.

Then the real discussion begins, as the lads discuss pre-season so far and, of course, all the latest transfer rumours - it appears we're about to end a three-year wait for a striker signing!

Despite the season being less than two weeks away, there's loads to discuss this week, including the decision to streamline the podcast format a little bit.
