Mariana has been in the industry for 38 years +.She is a third generation hairdresser, raised and breathed hairdressing from a very early age with her family. Her Egyptian born father & Mother, taught her the industry through their own passionate perspectives. From 1974-1983 her father held the Australian hairdressing champion title in the industry.She had her first salon in Melbourne, Middle Park called United Artists, where she established her signature in the industry and became very quickly recognized for her creative eye and enthusiasm to create masterpieces that walked many a cat walk and where captured by many a camera. Selling her salon in 1999, after deciding that there was more than operating a commercial salon, wanting to deepen her interaction with her clients.Her passion for hair never evaporated, simply transformed into a deeper experience with her clients after she sold her business.She embarked on a journey into the field of therapy and expanded her knowledge base in order to better communicate and understand her clients and their needs. Something she realized was a miss when she had a cathartic experience in her salon before she sold her business with a client that needed extra care and attention to be met. Tools she realized were not available in her tool kit from the onset.Mariana obtained a Dip. Trans personal Counseling @ The Phoenix institute in 2006. She explored NLP, Hypnotherapy, Breath Work, Personal Training, Diet & Nutrition, Art Therapy, Dance, just to name a few tools she collected along the way.These tools began to inform her processes with her clients as she started developing a new perspective with her work to better meet her clients in a more holistic sense.In 2008, Mariana created Hair Therapy by M.An experience for clients with their authentic reflection.The tools were slowly coming together, and by 2010, she was running private sessions with her clients in Transformation.Her work has transformed from working one on one with clients for 15 years, to seeing the potential her methods she discovered could benefit her industry, and began cultivating a program to share this work with them.It has taken her 7 years to compile her work into a seamless piece of art where her industry can also learn to evolve into the next phase of this work.Her passion with working with people and aligning them to their truth using the varied modalities she has developed over the years, has seen her birth Head Ed and the Evolve program to begin sharing with her industry.Her pathway now is to lead hairdressers that see the future of the industry through this process, as an opportunity for hairdressers to evolve and finally merge interpersonal relating with transformative magic to align each and every client to their authentic truth.
