They discuss Learning Center Nærheden in Høje-Taastrup, Denmark.You can see the project here as you listen along.The Learning Centre is the first public school in Denmark based on 21st Century Learning Skills – also known as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics). The city had an overall vision for “The Learning Center.” The goal was to create a place that prepared children for the changing society of the future, where they must, among other things, contribute to a more sustainable world.The building includes an integrated daycare, a sports hall, and cultural facilities for the surrounding community. The concept was to design a building that doubled as a pallet for children to learn and play.
