Description

Bo and the crew talk about Hardy's relationship with Mississippi State and Busch Light, buying merchandise at games, and expectations for the New Orleans Saints in the second hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys talk about Bo seeing an ad with Hardy and Busch light at Two Brothers in Starkville and how Hardy has used his influence to pair with brands he loves. Jason talks about his first steak from Koestler Prime and the guys talk about just how good Mississippi State cheese is. The guys look at Bo's Atlanta Braves hat and start talking about if buying merchandise at the game is the best way to do it. Bo and the crew start talking about local places to get jerseys framed and Jason brings up Hobby Lobby, which sparks the discussion of boy scout car races. New Orleans Saints insider Jeff Duncan joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about his experiences with Sean Payton, the best player for the Saints right now and the Saints taking advantage of scheduling live in the BankPlus Studio. Bo asks Jeff if he was surprised that Sean Payton went after Nathaniel Hackett like he did and Jeff says that it was the name dropping, not the attitude, that surprised him. Jeff talks about the unwritten rule between coaches that you don't name a coach specifically when attacking a program and that some fans actually like Sean Payton making himself and the team into bad guys. Jeff talks about how Sean does have friends but his attitude causes him to alienate himself, especially to people like Robert Saleh and staff of the NY Jets. Jeff mentions that Sean runs hot but it's no a part of his nature and some people love him or hate him for it. Bo asks Jeff about Sean Payton's west coast living and Jeff confirms that he is one of the only coaches to have a brand deal with a company like Jordan. Jeff says that people in New Orleans get tired of him reporting on Sean Payton but he believes the best coach in Saints history will always be valuable news. Bo and Jeff compare Sean and Hugh Freeze together and break down the similarities between the two coaches. Jeff uses Jimmy Graham and Brandin Cooks as examples of the type of people Sean and Hugh are. Bo asks Jeff about the most popular players on the team and Jeff talks about Alvin Kamara holding the top spot but Cam Jordan is close behind. Jeff talks about Dennis Allen needing to take advantage of an easy schedule this year and that this is the first time since the Brees& Payton era that season tickets have been available. Jeff believes that Chris Olave is the best player on the Saints if Alvin Kamara isn't in the game and the future for Michael Thomas. Jeff believes Thomas will never be the same but could impact the game in different ways.
