On Sunday evening Alabama guard Jahvon Quinerly unexpectedly announced intent to enter the transfer portal as a grad transfer. Quinerly will have the ability to go anywhere and play immediately as a grad transfer. There will be no shortage of suitors for his services, particularly those programs searching for a high level point guard.

West Virginia announced the decision to hire assistant Josh Eilert on an interim basis for the 2023-24 season. Doing so will likely help the Moutaineers maintain more of their scholarship players than they otherwise would have. Kerr Kriisa has already announced he’s staying. We now just wait for the decisions of others who have entered the transfer portal and are taking other visits.
