Description

Bo and the crew talk about Mississippi towns that produce football players, expectations for Pete Golding at Ole Miss, and Will Rogers learning the new offense in the third hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys talk about Jason playing high school football and the size of players St. Joe would play against. Bo and the crew break down what towns in Mississippi produce hard-nose, cornbread-eating guys that play hard and Bassfield makes the top of the list. Bo talks about how Guy Fieri began to build his culinary empire off of a contest to see who sold the most Cabo Wabo tequila. College football insider Tom Luginbill joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about how Will Rogers can adjust to a new offense, the implications of the FSU vs LSU game to start the season and what fans can expect from Texas A&M vs Miami live in the BankPlus Studio. Tom talks about Clemson as the favorite to win the ACC but believes Florida State has closed the gap under Mike Norvell. Tom and Bo talk about the week one game of LSU vs FSU and Tom believes LSU has more talent but the game could be just as close as last year. Tom talks about the game to open the season as a matchup similar to a possible College Football Playoff game. Tom switches over to Texas A&M and talks about how they need to start winning pivotal games in order to change the narrative around the program. Tom talks about Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers and how he can adapt to a new offense under Kevin Barbay. Tom believes Barbay's offense could be good for Will because a more balanced approach takes more pressure off the quarterback and allows him to play more comfortably. Tom believes you can't put a price on Will Rogers' experience when it comes to learning a new offense and thinks the transition will be a lot better than if he was a new QB. Tom tells the audience that if they want to get a sneak peak of Mississippi State's run game for this year they should watch the App State vs Texas A&M game from last season.
