Description

On today's podcast we had the pleasure of sitting down with Whitney and Danielle's longtime personal dentist, Dr. Jerry Curatola. Dr. Curatola has been a practicing clinician for several decades and is anything but traditional when it comes to oral health and his holistic approach to dentistry. Based on academic research and practice, he champions the idea that our mouth microbiome is both a portal and a mirror to our overall well being, and that it holds many more insights to our health than the modern Western dentistry standards address. He's the author of a new book called The Mouth Body Connection, which details how to create a healthy mouth, reduce inflammation, and prevent disease throughout the entire body. He's also the co-inventor of the world's first prebiotic naturopathic toothpaste called Revitin. During this conversation we touch on everything from metal fillings to jaw cavitations, root canals, and Dr. Curatola’s personal mission to change the world of dentistry for the better.  Hosted on Acast.
