Dan chats up Cody Cannon, vocalist/guitarist.songwriter for a fantastic band called Whiskey Myers, who in addition to making great music have partnered with the award-winning distillers at Bespoken to make their own straight bourbon, Uncle Chicken's Sippin' Whiskey. And with America's biggest drinks festival, Tales of the Cocktail, taking place this week in New Orleans, Dan waxes nostalgic about his many misadventures at TOTC over the years, and offers up a NOLA-inspired original cocktail recipe from his good pal, master drinks-maker Jeffrey Morgenthaler. Also, in honor of National Tequila Day, Dan weighs in on a video put out recently by the world's preeminent experts on agave spirits, Kris and Kendall Jenner. And finally, in "Drinks of the Week," Dan reviews Nosotros Tequila and Mezcal, as well as a new bourbon from the fine folks at Frey Ranch.
