Today we're broadcasting from the North Kent Golf Course in Rockford as they're hosting a long drive competition today to earn money for the Folds of Honor Foundation. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great folks from North Kent to hear about what they've been doing to improve the course, and much more. We were also joined by some great insiders to talk about the World of sports. In our first hour we were joined by NFL Player Justin Zimmer who is out of Greenville Michigan. He joined us to talk about his journey from High School to Ferris State to the NFL. We wrapped up the hour with Nic Lapienski who is the owner of the North Kent Golf Course. He talked about their connection to Folds of Honor, filled us in on the course improvements they've made, talked about some of the other cool thinks NK has to offer, and more. In our second hour we were joined by Steve Jbarra who is the owner of the Denver Nuggets G-League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold. Steve filled us in on how the first year downtown went for the GR Gold, talked to us about what the Denver Nuggets winning the NBA Finals does for the Gold, and so much more. We were then joined by Trey Conner who is the VP of the GR Gold. He and Huge talked about the Pistons and the hiring of Monty Williams, talked about some of the stories in the NBA, and more. In our final hour we were joined by former Major Leaguer John VanderWal to talk about the Tigers as they just beat the Kansas City Royals earlier today. Throughout the hour, John and Huge talked about what they've liked from the Tigers lately, as well as what they haven't liked so far. They also talked about their expectations for the rest of the season, discussed what needs to be improved upon, talked free-agency and much more.
