The CW Network has recently announced its acquisition of exclusive broadcasting rights for 50 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) college football and basketball games per season until 2026-27. Starting on Saturday, September 9, The CW will kick off its ACC football coverage with an exciting matchup between the Pitt Panthers and non-conference opponent Cincinnati Bearcats. Viewers can expect to catch these games every Saturday, both in the afternoon and in primetime, throughout the season. Additionally, The CW will showcase 28 men's basketball games and nine women's basketball games. These games will be featured in December, January, and February, with men's basketball doubleheaders scheduled for every Saturday afternoon and women's basketball games on Sunday afternoons. Raycom Sports will handle the production of all games for The CW.
ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D., expressed enthusiasm about the addition of The CW to their weekly television lineup for ACC football and basketball games, emphasizing the direct benefits it will bring to student-athletes, teams, alumni, and fans.
