Russell Westbrook, Avery Bradley enter COVID-19 protocols, Isaiah Thomas rejoins the Lakers: Sports has been ravaged of late with various COVID-19 outbreaks, and the Lakers have unfortunately been no exception. Already down Talen Horton-Tucker, Malik Monk and Dwight Howard after positive tests, Thursday saw Russell Westbrook and Avery Bradley join them in the health and safety protocols. For those keeping score at home, that leaves the Lakers perilously short on backcourt players, and specifically, point guards. As such, they're bringing back a familiar face. Former All-NBA/All-Star/half-season Laker Isaiah Thomas will reportedly join the team on a 10-day deal. How much he'll actually be able to help remains to be seen (his previous comeback attempts have stalled out), but Thomas is easy to root for, regardless. LeBron Tweets "Hour Glass" emoji. Who is out of time? Darvin Ham? Rob Pelinka? The Lakers?: For a while, it looked like the most important Tweet to come from a Laker Tuesday in Atlanta would be Christian Wood's, where he "lol"'d right after the Lakers announced a starting lineup that included Jaxson Hayes instead of him, filling in for Anthony Davis.
