At long last (or more specifically, 48 hours, the time it took to clear waivers), DeAndre Jordan officially signed his contract with the Lakers on Thursday, and did an introductory press conference. The most interesting aspects to the Kamenetzky Brothers weren't as much about the details he offered (although he did seem excited to compete and amiable towards whatever role is needed of him), but rather how he was asked questions that framed Lakers-Nets as a rivalry. It is... in the sense that these are the consensus picks to make the Finals, and the storylines are incredibly juicy fun. But it's also not, in the sense that there's no recent history to speak of whatsoever between these squads.
