Kris Valdes is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist who has made extensive contributions to the hand and upper extremity profession. She is also a past president of ASHT. Kris has a widespread knowledge of treatment of distal radius fractures, specifically looking at proprioceptive input. She is a past president of the American Society of Hand Therapists. She was in private practice for over thirty years and specialized in the treatment and rehabilitation of the upper extremity.
