Description
From birth in our society, women are given the message that becoming a mother is the ultimate goal- the thing that gives females value, worth and purpose.
After having the baby that she so desperately wanted, the baby her entire community wanted her to have, Paulina Lopez found herself dealing with a subject so taboo that there was no word for it in her native language.
What would you do if you were so desperate for a solution that you had to reach beyond your cultural norms to find one?Would you hide your efforts from the people who loved you the most? Or would you let people in and create a new community norm? One that allowed for women to heal and get the help they so desperately needed?
