power forward Jalen Bridges has made the decision to return to Baylor and continue playing for Scott Drew and the Bears during his senior season.
This news brings great satisfaction to Drew and the 2023-24 Baylor Men's Basketball team, as Bridges had been contemplating various options, including the possibility of playing professionally in the Australian NBL. Ultimately, he chose to remain at Baylor.
Bridges now stands as the sole returning starter from last year's tournament team, and he proved to be a consistent threat throughout the Big 12 play, especially during the crucial moments of the season.
After an impressive freshman year at West Virginia, Bridges experienced a decline in performance during his sophomore season. However, he took advantage of the one-time transfer waiver and decided to join Baylor in Waco, playing under Drew's guidance.
