Description

This is the 2nd Episode of Season 13, focused on "Architects and Mental Health". Using their own experience after graduating from Part 2, Naziaty reflected on the incident when they started work at a company in Malaysia, where they felt like a "failure", as they did not fit in the office culture. On observation, it was a great learning encounter, where in the bigger picture of understanding stress and burnout issues that architects may be facing in architecture practice, this episode sets up further discussion on this matter on the 'architecture culture' in architecture practice. This Part 1 episode places the primary awareness, where Part 2 will focus on defining further what is 'architecture culture' and how it relates to architecture education. The use of the term,  'club' (in the title) will be explained in Part 2.©️Talk Architecture 2023, Author: Naziaty Mohd Yaacob.
