The middle of June approaches, and the Pac-12 is still without a media rights contract to begin during the 2024-25 athletics season. June 30th is a day to watch for, as the league's ability to wrap things up by then will likely affect whether or not they add San Diego State.

The Big 12 would be wise to consider San Diego State if the Pac-12 isn't able to add them, but it might not be an automatic addition for commissioner Brett Yormark. Plus, Spencer dives into what sorts of media rights dollars would cause schools to get antsy and want to jump to the Big 12.
