Description
John Canzano recently reported that the 10 remaining Pac-12 schools have verbally agreed, though not yet signed, a grant of rights to the conference to broadcast their sports in coming years. It's the first major step towards finalizing the Pac-12 media deal we've seen in some time, but fans shouldn't be too anxious just yet.
On today's episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin reacts to the latest breadcrumbs (of actual news, at least) relating to the Pac-12 media deal. Washington State's board meeting on Friday have one particular agenda item that indicate movement could be taking place on the media rights deal.
The TV schedule was recently released for this Fall's non-conference College Football games, and Washington's matchup against Michigan State was surprisingly moved to streaming-only on Peacock. That could be telling for the ever-evolving landscape of realignment and media rights.
