Description
Welcome back to Manifest with Tori DeSimone! Today, Tori gives a detailed account of her morning routine in the summer. Now that summer has arrived, the mornings are warmer, the sun comes up earlier, and her mornings start a little earlier than they did in the winter.

Having said that, her morning routine doesn't necessarily begin at the same time or even resemble itself every day. It does, however, have pillars that she consistently meets that make her day start on a successful note.
The Pillars of my morning Routine:
1.Wake Up
Although the exact hour might vary every day, getting up 90 minutes before work is a good rule of thumb that I use.
2. Wash Face
Start the day off feeling refreshed, clean, and prepared to go!
3. Clothes
Changing into workout clothes right away is incredibly beneficial for me.
4. Journal
Preferably, I write down my thoughts first thing in the morning and am sitting outside while doing it.
5. Stretch
Even on days I'm not running, it feels good to stretch after sleeping for 8+ hours.
6. Movement & Morning Light
Exercises I love include running, spinning, walking, or doing yoga or pilates, and the timing ranges from 30-90 minutes.
7. Shower
Washing your hair after a run or spin class will make you feel like a new person!
8. Coffee
A hot latte in the Keurig K Smart Machine with a splash of oat milk is my go-to!
9. Breakfast
Overnight oats or a smoothie are great to bring on the go. When eating at home, my favorite is eggs, ham, and avocado with hot honey.

10. Commute
At the beach, my commute is driving the golf cart down the island to the studio.
11. Work
Work starts any time between 6:30 and 10 am every day.
There are a few morning rituals that I avoid because they ALWAYS set me off track.
OFF LIMITS:
1. Social Media
I tend to get way too distracted from my work when I engage in social media.
2. Texts outside of Stride
I cannot be reached until I arrive at work in order to stay on track for my goals at the studio. Preparing a few things the night before also sets me up for success the following morning.
The Night Before:
Lay out workout clothes
2. Prep breakfast for the morning
3. Go to bed between 8:30-10:00 pm
Tips:
1. Always carry a notebook to take notes rather than using your phone to prevent distractions.
2. Turn lights on when you first wake up.
3. Drink water first thing to naturally wake up your body.
