Description
Husband and Wife cover Psalms 42 - 44[[Support our Campaign to raise funds for our live broadcast equipment]] https://giveb.co/s/YOmP73Psalm 42: Thirsting for God. Starts, "As the hart panteth after the water brooks." People are like super thirsty, so they take off their pants and drink water and eat deer hearts. Banger of an opening!Psalm 43: A Prayer for Vindication and Deliverance. Starts, "Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation." This little dink of a psalm is merely a continuation of the one preceding it. Everyone is in mourning, as well they should be. Psalm 44: Former Deliverances and Present Troubles. Starts, "We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us." This is a communal lamentation but it comes off less of a plea for help than a damning statement of God's many failures. There's a real MAGA vibe wherein the tribe is looking back on them good ol' days that never actually existed (because it's a dog whistle for racism and discrimination). Gross.
