Today we chat with the new owners of the iconic Grant Ave studios in Hamilton, Marco Mondano, Mike Bruce and Andrew Lauzon. Marco Mondano is a well-known fixture in the music industry. For more than 20 years, he has owned and run DC Music, Toronto's finest rehearsal, recording, and live production facility, which has hosted some of the biggest musicians in the world. Mike Bruce, a musician as well, founded the well-known Hamilton film and television studio Aeon Bayfront Studios. Andrew Lauzon, a.k.a the "Audio Geek," is their new in-house Producer and Engineer. He has recorded, mixed, and played on countless recordings over the last two decades as a freelancer in the Southern Ontario music scene.
