You may know the Technology Modernization Fund by its acronym, the TMF.  The TMF was set up to fund projects for, quote, technology related activities to improve information technology, and to enhance cybersecurity across the federal government.”  While it previously had a relatively small balance sheet, the TMF recently  received a one billion dollar investment thanks to the American Rescue Plan, along with new repayment guidelines.
