Description

The NFL’s best offenses are taking shape this offseason.
Most teams are working through their organized team activities and the Bengals will have theirs coming up in the first week of June. For the Bengals, these workouts are far from competitive, but they’re setting the stage for training camp with the hope of being one of the best offenses in the NFL.
The Bengals have the tools to play like a top five offense, but the question is how well they can materialize their resources into playing like one.
Concerns surrounding the run game without Samaje Perine and the tight end position without Irv Smith Jr. have led several former coaches and critics, like former longtime NFL head coach Mike Martz, to question if the Bengals really are capable of playing like a top five offense.
Are those concerns as valid as they seem? And are teams ranked ahead of the Bengals actually top five offenses?
The Strictly Stripes crew examines Martz’s claims and other claims that the Bengals aren’t a top five offense and looks at how accurate they are or aren’t. Rookie punter Brad Robbins joins the crew as a special guest.
This podcast features Mohammad Ahmad, Andrew Gillis and Michael Niziolek.
