Description

Husband and Wife cover Psalms 12 - 14Psalm 12: A Prayer for Help against the Wicked, starts out, "Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth." This psalm of lament is basically about how much men suck, which, I mean, okay yes. But it's also about tearing out tongues and cutting off dick suckers (or duck slippers, if you're dyslexic like meeee). So, this psalm is grody to the max. Psalm 13: A Prayer for Help in Trouble, starts out, "How long, O Lord?" I can not get past the statement that this psalm is sometimes referred to as the "Howling Psalm." Nope, not even gonna try to move on. We live here now. Psalm 14: The Folly and Wickedness of Men, starts out, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." Yep, got it, we're going to Hell. Awesome. See you there. Husband and Wife are two non-believers who have always wanted to read the Bible. Why would we subject ourselves to this you might ask? From our perspective it helps us understand where the Christians around us, here in the Midwest, are coming from when they quote the Bible at us. Husband is basically an Atheist and wife leans Agnostic but mostly Atheist and we're just having some fun at the Bible's expense while learning more about what our neighbors claim we're going to hell over.
