The Cincinnati Reds were swept by the New York Yankees, but there was one big positive that you should not ignore. Hunter Greene, Luke Weaver...and Ben Lively have all shown that Reds starting pitching is taking a step forward. The bullpen remains solid, despite overuse early this season, and outside of some guys who we expected to be bad options out of the bullpen, Alexis Díaz, Alex Young, Buck Farmer, Lucas Sims, and Ian Gibaut continue to be a strength for this team. It is time to wonder what Reds management will look like when they are good again. David Bell seems to make enough managerial mistakes that leave you wondering where he will be when the Reds are vying for the playoffs in the next few years.
