Description

Mozart was 25 years old when he composed his Sonata for Two Pianos in D major. Hundreds of years later, his enchanting melody is offering hope to those living with epilepsy, a brain disease often characterized by debilitating seizures. A new study is looking at the impact of this Mozart Sonata on reducing seizure frequency in people with epilepsy.Heather speaks with  Dr. Marjan Rafiee and Dr. Taufik Valiante to discuss the latest research around Mozart and the therapeutic role music appears to play in neurological disorders.
