Description

In this episode, I share about how parents can be the researchers with Aware Parenting. I invite a process where you first listen in to whether something resonates with you, and if it does, then to experiment and to observe your baby or child. I share about all the things you can observe to see if what you are doing is helpful for them or not. And if something is happening that is different, then there's an invitation to pause, to find out new information about what might be going on, to listen in again to yourself about whether this resonates and to see if you want to continue experimenting and observing.

The Aware Parenting Podcast explores all elements of parenting through a developmental perspective. We explore why and how connection, attachment, compassionately understanding our own childhoods as parents, and listening to our children are the foundation to parenting with this particular kind of awareness. We are both Aware Parenting Instructors, certified by The Aware Parenting Institute, founded by Aletha Solter, Ph.D.
