Today we are finally covering one of Jack's all-time favourite animals - the Okapi! To do this, Jack is joined by Lucas Meers, The Okapi Conservation Project's Program Officer!
The pair begin by chatting about what an Okapi is, and some of the weird and wonderful traits which help them too thrive in their forest home! Then, they discuss how The Okapi Conservation Project is trying to protect these magical creatures with agroforestry projects, education programmes and by better understanding emerging threats such as poaching! 
On top of all that, Jack and Lucas also chat about how Lucas found himself working for such an incredible organisation, the huge natural diversity of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and one of Lucas’s favourite under-appreciated species - the sea turtle!
