Jamie Beck (@jamiebeck.co), a photographer and visual artist, joins us to talk about her #IsolationCreation movement and what she has learned about herself as an artist during this crisis. When the world went into lockdown, Jamie had to cancel an exhibition that she had been working on for a year and lost a year’s worth of commercial projects. Instead of falling into despair, Jamie committed to taking back the power from the virus and decided she would create one piece of art every day while she was in quarantine. She named this movement #IsolationCreation and since she posted her first piece, the movement has generated over 165K posts from artists around the world and brought inspiration and hope to millions.
