In this part 1 review of The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, we are greeted with Sorata Kanda being forced to move into Sakurasou dormitory - which is known for housing students who are considered "problematic" by the school. As Sorata navigates life in Sakurasou, he becomes Mashiro's caretaker, a talented artist but struggles with basic daily tasks, and helps her navigate the complexities of daily life. Along the way, he also encounters a cast of colorful characters, each with their own unique quirks and challenges.
