Description

There's a reason drummer Scotty Zwang has an illustrious history of collaboration (Lotus, The Disco Biscuits, Umphreys McGee, and Soulive among others); primarily, he's got amazing chops as a drummer, but mostly, it's because he's just a great guy to have around.  Calm, cool, and relaxed, Scotty's been honing his craft practically his entire life. Having begun playing as an eight year-old kid, Scotty's been rocking the drum kit for as long as he can remember.  Nowadays, while he's still traveling the globe with a variety of projects, he's finally ensconced for the first time with a band he's been with since inception, Ghost Light, with his friend and collaborator, the amazing Tom Hamilton. Scotty talks about his recent gigs at Dead and Co's Playing in the Sand and at Jam Cruise, elaborates on the physical and mental preparation necessary at festivals and shows, as well as what it takes to be on the road often for over 200 shows a year.  So grab a seat on the Roadcase bus for this EPIC interview with the one and only Scotty Zwang!!  It's gonna be a great ride. For more info:https://www.ghostlightband.com/For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comContact: info@roadcasepod.comTheme music:  "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer
