Alexander Nemerov is Carl and Marilynn Thoma Provostial Professor in the Arts and Humanities at Stanford University. His new book, The Forest: A Fable of America in the 1830s, is just out from Princeton University Press. His most recent book is Fierce Poise: Helen Frankenthaler and 1950s New York, published by Penguin in 2021 and a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Biography.in 2021.He has recently published essays on Adaline Kent, John Quidor, Deana Lawson, Clifford Ross, Wilson Bentley, Jasper Johns, Perugino, Tintoretto, and the social history of art.
Named as one of the "100 most connected men" by GQ magazine, Andrew Keen is amongst the world's best known broadcasters and commentators. In addition to presenting KEEN ON, he is the host of the long-running How To Fix Democracy show. He is also the author of four prescient books about digital technology: CULT OF THE AMATEUR, DIGITAL VERTIGO, THE INTERNET IS NOT THE ANSWER and HOW TO FIX THE FUTURE. Andrew lives in San Francisco, is married to Cassandra Knight, Google's VP of Litigation & Discovery, and has two grown children.
