The Food and Wine Festival is starting in just a couple of days, so of course, the foodie guide is out! The Disney Vacation Club tower at the Disneyland Resort is coming along. This week, Disney showed off a first look at the new guest rooms coming to The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The 12-story tower will open in September, with themed rooms celebrating Disney animation. Disneyland After Dark Princess Nites are coming up soon, and the list of activities and food has been posted online. Southern California has been dealing with quite a bit of rainy weather recently, which can impact your day in the parks. If you plan on being in the park during rainy weather, be aware that outdoor attractions can and will close. Examples of these are Goofy's Sky School, Alice in Wonderland, Matterhorn and more. Sometimes the weather is so bad that the park will close early, as happened last week when Disneyland closed an hour early. One of our favorite places to eat at the resort should be opening their expansion soon! Earl of Sandwich Tavern is the other section of the old La Brea Bakery that housed the sit down restaurant.
