Oklahoma has been a daydream for a few years now. Finally, in November 2021 I bought a tag after being fortunate on a few hunts earlier in the SZN. It took three trips in the “Buck Truck”, but me and ol’ Tyler teamed up to make some OG moves in late December.
 


On 12/30/21, I hung a CRUZR in a tiny tree. within an hour, a big old Oklahoma buck came to 15 yds and I made the most of my opportunity. I put a Vector HMR right where it needed to be, and he didn’t go 50.
 


We patterned this buck with a Moultrie cell camera on a bed-to-water evening movement, which I thought was pretty unique. I’ll definitely pay more attention to water in the future.
