Ever since I was a small kiddo in a South Texas tripod, I can remeber being amazed at how well deer can pick off a hunter. Thier eyesight is unreal and is something that sometimes plagues us well into our adult hunting life. Just this past year we were picked off by a group of does while we were still as statues (or so we thought.)
Recently we met Dr. Karl Miller at the QDMA National Convention in New Orleans. The man has dedicated his life to studying deer and is eager to share what he has learned with anyone who wants to hear it.
We gotta say, Dr. Miller is a good sport too. We had some audio issues and actaully had to rerecord about half of this interview. So here is a big thanks to Dr. Miller from us.
