Description

It's time for what I've coined "Rock School" because I came into this episode as only a casual fan of Skid Row. I've always enjoyed their first two classic albums, but I never went beyond those. In the past few weeks I listened to Subhuman Race, and the rest of the post-Sebastian Bach catalogue for the first time. So this week is a combination of some of my underrated songs off of their debut and Slave To the Grind but also some of my new favorites from their last three studio albums. Whether you are a Skid Row purest or not, I think you'll enjoy this journey through their entire catalogue.I do not own the rights to any of the music played on this podcast. The musicians or the music labels own the copyright. I play this music under the doctrine of Fair Use. I am not here as a DJ, but to offer music commentary and criticism. My goal is for you to gain a larger appreciation for the bands or the musicians played here on this podcast and I ask for you to go out and purchase their music or legally stream it. The musicians need your support and I hope this show contributes to spreading the good word about the bands you hear on these episodes. I do not profit in any way from this podcast. It is truly done out of my pure love of the music.Featured SongsHere I AmMidnight/TornadoThe ThreatMudkickerFrozenFace Against My SoulThick Is the SkinMouth of VoodooAnother Dick In the SystemShut Up Baby, I Love You

Some episodes feature in deep dives into the back catalogue of the musicians that have shaped the landscape of music of the past 60 years.
