Description
Friends of the Rosary:
In today's Sunday reading (Mt 5:38-48), Jesus Christ instructs us to pray for those who persecute us.
“Be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect," He said.
It’s not just about loving our family members and friends who love us. It’s about knowing that as children of God and members of the human family, we should strive to be icons of Jesus Christ.
When faced with people who try to impose their ungodly secular values on us, we respond with prayers. We don’t ignore their silent pain and suffering—they are far from God.
On the contrary, we help them by trying to bring them to the eternal truth, as much as they are open to it. If they are not open, we pray for them.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
