There are different categories of feeding these days. Today we will talk about air dried food. It is definitely a niche category of feeding. We want to shed some light on it today with you. This episode won't be super long, but we will have a GREAT follow up interview with the leading air dried food in the industry.    Emily and Toni like air dried food so much because of its palatability. Almost all of our pickiest eaters will enjoy air dried food. It is so palatable because of the process, it goes into a drying chamber that circulates air and as such, retains more nutritional value, moisture and texture compared to other kibble processes. These foods also typically are limited ingredients and contain higher meat value. Toni’s favorite thing from a retail perspective about air dried, is that 1. It doesn’t need to be refrigerated, so it doesn't take up space away from raw food, supplements or bones 2. It is shelf stable with a high digestibility rate, and nutritional value. We will ALWAYS recommend feeding this food with added hydration, and that can be with: Bone broth, goats milk, water, etc. This will increase the palatability even further, ensuring your dog is hydrated.
