Sharing this morning's unexpected visit to the hospital and using the opportunity to contemplate the Dhamma and cultivate immeasurable mettā, immeasurable upekkhā and liberation of mind due to mettā.
The insight pathway applied is the Painful Practice with Slow Realisation (dukkhā paṭipadā dandhābhiññā), the first doorway to Nibbāna combined with the instructions for cultivating mettā in the Karaṇīyametta Sutta.
