Description

All eight members of the Hart Family were killed when their van crashed off of a California roadside cliff, falling 100 feet to the rocky shore below.  Jennifer and Susan Hart of Minnesota adopted six children from Houston, creating what was affectionately known as the Hart Tribe. Well known in the local festival circuit and active in social causes, the family was often held out as perfect family.  But there was a darkness lurking in the shadows of this seeming ideal family.SOURCES:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hart_family_crashhttps://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/broken-harts/id1434603257?mt=2https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/national/hart-family-abuse-interstate-adoption/https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hart-family-crash-driver-legally-drunk-fatal-suv-plunge-northern-california-cliff-coroner-inquest-2019-04-03/https://www.oregonlive.com/news/erry-2018/09/457f99a9ef7947/inside-the-hart-family-home-po.htmlhttps://katu.com/news/local/punishment-seemed-unnecessarily-cruel-hart-family-friend-seeks-change-to-honor-childrenSmells Like HumansLike listening to funny friends discuss curious human behavior.Listen on: Apple Podcasts   SpotifySupport the show
