Description

Feminist Question Time with speakers from USA and Germany

Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel. WDI is the leading  global organisation defending women’s sex-based rights against the threats posed by gender identity ideology. There is more information on the website womensdeclaration.com where you will find our Declaration on Women’s Sex-based rights, which has been signed by more 30,000 people from 157 countries and is supported by 418 organisations.

This week’s speakers:

Amy Mangano - USA - Speaking Out In Athens
I plan on discussing what it was like to get ready for the protest and do my first FB livestream and ways to improve my approach for next time. Also, discuss some reactions to the protest....students reaching out...local feminists reaching out and local news reaching out.
I plan on discussing safety concerns and how my situation is way different for others. Athens is a "peaceful" community which offers me this luxury. My business would have been burned down by now in other areas of the globe.
Plan on discussing hopefulness in that a few students have started coming in to have short discussions about it.
I plan to discuss the possibility of reaching out to more students who I know want to be able to speak out but don't feel they can for fear of being expelled or punished socially.
Bio: Amy is here with us from Ohio to discuss issues surrounding being a small business owner and an outed TERF in a small liberal town.

Eva Engelken - Germany - About her book, Trans*innen? Nein danke! - book on gender ideology in Germany
Bio:Eva Engelken, journalist, lawyer and dissident member of the Green Party

Lauren Levy - USA - WDI USA's Lesbian Caucus - Why I felt WDI USA needed a Lesbian Caucus. Its intended purposes. How we created the Lesbian Bill of Rights (LBOR), and why. I'll read the LBOR. Lesbian Caucus' plans going forward.
Bio: Lauren is the Vice President of WDI USA, and a member of WDI USA's State Legislative Advocacy team. She is also the coordinator of WDI USA's Lesbian Caucus.

Disclaimer: Women’s Declaration International (WDI) hosts a range of women from all over the world on Feminist Question Time (FQT) and Radical Feminist Perspectives (RFP) and on webinars hosted by country chapters – all have signed our Declaration or have known histories of feminist activism - but beyond that, we do not know their exact views or activism. WDI does not know in detail what they will say on webinars. The views expressed by speakers in these videos are not necessarily those of WDI and we do not necessarily support views or actions that speakers have expressed or engaged in at other times. As well as the position stated in our Declaration on Women’s Sex-based Rights, WDI opposes sexism, racism and anti-semitism.
