Description

Feminist Question Time with speakers from Italy, Belgium and Spain

Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel. WDI is the leading  global organisation defending women’s sex-based rights against the threats posed by gender identity ideology. There is more information on the website womensdeclaration.com where you will find our Declaration on Women’s Sex-based rights, which has been signed by more 30,000 people from 157 countries and is supported by 418 organisations.

This week’s speakers:

Marina Terragni - Italy - What's happening in Italy with the first female Prime Minister?
Strange situation in Italy: for the first time we have a female prime minister, and she is a right-wing woman. A fact that creates many conflicts within feminism: do we have to dialogue with her, or is this not possible? Giorgia Meloni is radically gender critical, and this gives us an advantage over other European countries such as Spain and Germany. Can we today think of Italy as a bulwark against gender ideology?
Bio: Activist, journalist and writer investigating gender ideology in Europe. Her book "The Disappearance of Women" (2007) was a prophecy. Founder of Radfem Italia and Feminist Post. Based in Milan

Róisín Michaux - Belgium - No data, no problem? Why Belgium is not the self-ID poster child the UN says it is.
I spent a couple of months trying to find evidence of the negative effects of self-ID in Belgium, where it has been in force for 5 years. What I found was a lack of transparency, an oblivious public, and a culture of media silence.
Bio: Brussels-based Irish journalist investigating the rise of gender ideology in the EU. I'm a mother and a feminist, and I am militant about stopping paediatric transgender transition.

Amparo Domingo - Spain - WOMEN ARE ABOUT TO BE ERASED IN SPAIN Gender identity ideology permeates all our legislation
Bio: WDI Country Contact for Spain and Coordination group of Confluencia.

Disclaimer: Women’s Declaration International (WDI) hosts a range of women from all over the world on Feminist Question Time (FQT) and Radical Feminist Perspectives (RFP) and on webinars hosted by country chapters – all have signed our Declaration or have known histories of feminist activism - but beyond that, we do not know their exact views or activism. WDI does not know in detail what they will say on webinars. The views expressed by speakers in these videos are not necessarily those of WDI and we do not necessarily support views or actions that speakers have expressed or engaged in at other times. As well as the position stated in our Declaration on Women’s Sex-based Rights, WDI opposes sexism, racism and anti-semitism.
