Description
Friends of the Rosary:
In today's Sunday reading (Jn 1:19-34), John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world."
From ancient times in Old Testament, the lamb was the sacrificed animal that represented the sins of the people. It was an innocent creature sacrificed for God.
Jesus Christ the Messiah offered Himself as the eternal lamb to sacrifice out of love for the human race and its sins.
The Lamb of God continues to be present in the Eucharist today.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
