Lance Allred is the first Deaf player in NBA History - playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside Lebron James in 2008. Even without the hearing loss - Lance's journey to the NBA was NOT a typical one. He was born and raised in a Polygamist Commune in Montana and escaped at age 13 with his family to start a new life. Standing at 6'11 and needing a new way to socialize in "the normal world" Lance turned to basketball at his new school - and the rest is history.Lance  is now a wildly successful business owner, professional speaker, author, and communicator (which he is most proud of). He has multiple books including "The New Alpha Male" with the Foreword by Ric Bucher.
