Description
It's Wednesday night, so your favourite podcast is back with a brand new episode filled with your usual dose of Oilers-related nonsense to help you get through the rest of the week.To kick off this week's podcast, I got started with a few minutes spent gushing about how excited I am for the third #NationVacation to Las Vegas that's kicking off tomorrow. Seeing as we'll have a crew of about 50 people flying down with us and even more expected to meet us while we're down there, this trip to Las Vegas has me more excited about the next few days than I could have imagined. It wasn't all good news for me this week, however, as Twitter took away my blue checkmark after I stopped paying for a subscription. Turning the podcast back towards the Oilers, I ran through the latest news with the team and dove into some of the rumours that are popping up around Twitter as the team is basically tied to every defenceman under the sun right now. From there, I welcomed my guy, Liam Horrobin, to the podcast to talk about literally anything other than what's happening with the Oilers right now, and specifically what he's expecting from his first-ever Nation Vacation. For a guy that hasn't really been around for a long time, Liam's impact on the Nation has been immediate and I wanted to ask him what it's been like to work through his first year(ish) with the company. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with another round of voicemails to get your take on what’s been going on over the last week.Want to leave a voicemail for next week’s show? Do it here!
