Chris Beard was fired from the University of Texas on January 5th, stemming from his felony domestic violence with strangulation on December 12th. Since that day, he had been suspended without pay while the University of Texas conducted their own investigation. On January 5th, that investigation concluded with Chris Beard being relieved of his duties.
