Description

A very happy holidays to you and yours! So what do we have for our Christmas present to you? How about one of our best episodes ever? How about a deep dive into the early days of SHA NA NA? If that’s what you’re into, this is the place for you! On this episode (the first of three!) We have none other than DONNY YORK, renowned vocalist who was with Sha Na Na from the very beginning of the band to the end (because they sadly called it quits this year) and guitarist HENRY GROSS, who played with the group at Woodstock in 1969 and stayed with the band for a while before going off to a successful solo career.  This is a freewheeling conversation that was more fun than a barrel full of monkeys! Stay tuned for part two next week! And have a safe and happy holiday from all of us here at KTDF!

Welcome to KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING! In this podcast, we talk about the 1969 Woodstock festival with the people who know it best -- the people who made the festival happen, the musicians who performed, and the attendees who came to share in three days of peace, love and music! Thanks for checking us out and, as Wavy Gravy put it, "keep feeding each other!"
